All the terracotta urns and vases are fired to over 1000°C and slowly cooled down after firing to create hard wearing glaze finishes.
Whilst these vases are heavy and robust, we advise that they should not be left outside during cold winter periods where frost and sub-zero temperatures may damage the glaze surfaces.
Always remove pots to a sheltered place to over winter.
Make sure the vases have plenty of gravel and stones in the bottom as good drainage is essential for healthy plant growth. |
